K. Hovnanian Companies is looking for a Windows Infrastructure Engineer with experience administrating cloud services.The candidate would help deploy and maintain Windows and Azure based solutions.This Global position is also responsible for maintaining the defined Service Levels Agreements and Operational Level Agreements within K. Hovnanian.This person's primary responsibility will be to work with the Senior Engineers to administrate, implement, and troubleshoot these server environments.The position will also assist with strategic projects supporting the business goals of K. Hovnanian.To be successful, this person must be self-directed, motivated, organized, and results driven. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. •Windows Infrastructure Engineering •Technical Acumen:Become familiar with the current IS landscape (people, systems, services and software). •Engineers will Install, Setup, and Support Windows Server Operating System both physical & VM. •Administration of Azure services as it relates to computer deployments. •Collaborate with team members as well as operate individually to execute tasks within complex migration projects to Cloud services. •Systems Monitoring and Reporting:Review Server/System Monitoring alerts and take the corresponding actions.Review systems logs and generated reports and identifies system anomalies that deviate from established norms. •Incident Management: Participate in process and troubleshooting problems within the Windows, Azure, & O365 spaces. •Provide after-hours and weekend support when necessary. •Support Methodology:Familiar with ITIL standards particularly Service Operations (Incident Management, Request Fulfilment) & Service Transition (Asset, Change & Knowledge Management). •Protecting Company Assets:Coordinate with our CyberSecurity team and participate in implementing technology solutions taking into account industry security best practices. •Communication:For assigned tasks and projects, ensure all necessary resources are requested in a timely manner.Provide clear communications to management regarding timelines, issues, requirements, and personal training needs.Communicate effectively with individuals up, down, and across the organization. •Learning:Review and evaluate the capabilities of existing systems for conformance to standards while developing expertise within responsible technology discipline.Actively identifies new areas for learning.Takes advantage of learning opportunities.Uses newly gained knowledge and skills on the job and learns by applying the new areas of proficiency. •Compliance:Comply with all regulatory, Legal and Human Resources mandates.Provide feedback/evidence as requested during CSA and SOX testing. •Vendor Partnership:Leverage vendor support services to maximize productivity and service levels with existing hardware, software, and managed services.Establish and foster relationships with vendor staff members.Attend conferences/training when feasible. •Project Management:Responsible for the success of the assigned tasks and small projects from start to finish including some design, QA/testing, and implementation phases.This individual will coordinate various aspects of a small, simple technology project, and will effectively communicate and provide updates to all team members at various levels.
