As the Manager, Technology Infrastructure, you will be accountable for team deliverables and successful completion of team initiatives including the design, development, and implementation of business application systems for XPO Logistics transportation systems, ensuring applications are delivered timely, cost effectively, and with a high degree of quality. Responsibilities also include project management, technical and business analysis activities, budgeting, department initiatives related to process improvements, vendor management, contract negotiations and people management.  On our team, you’ll have the support to excel at work, and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Operational ownership of business unit/Infrastructure systems which includes leading initiatives of various size in capacity and resource planning, project plans, project tracking, status reporting and actively influencing work efforts
  • Manages team budgets, authorize expenditures, monitor allocation and resources, and oversee project plans
  • Drives continuous improvement efforts and fosters innovation throughout all team activities
  • Actively participates in determining customer requirements, developing solutions, assessing project viability, estimating new work effort.
  • Effective management of staff, including hiring, counseling, termination, performance reviews.  Employee and team development and coaching to increase bench strength and flexibility of teams.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 5 years of experience managing Active Directory environments and Azure Active Directory
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • In-depth understanding of Active Directory:  AD Site component topology; Forest/Inter-Forest Operations and Topology; AAD Connect; AD and Azure Environment Security; Group Policy, Azure AD, SSO applications, IDM/IAM
  • Expert Knowledge of AD and ADFS on Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016

It’d be great if you also have:

  • 3 years of experience leading large-scale AD and Azure Premium based projects
  • Experience with Azure RMS, Azure Active Directory Connect, O365 Portal Administration
  • Experience with Citrix Environments
  • Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager/ Forefront Identity Manager
  • MCSE and/or Azure Exams 70-533/70-534
