Preferred Knowledge/Skills :

Demonstrates a thorough level of abilities with, and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing client needs:

  • Developing Cloud based solutions (Azure preferred) as an engineer or solution architect;

  • Designing resilient and scalable Azure-based architectures, and validating that they adhere to customer technical requirements and leading practices;

  • Deploying the required Azure resources with infrastructure as code / automation (e.g., Terraform, ARM, PowerShell);

  • Rolling out cloud automation solutions for managing and maintaining the deployed environments;

  • Consulting and / or client facing experience desired;

  • Understanding of Cloud foundational components, with hands-on experience (Azure preferred) in several of the following areas: Azure Cloud IaaS & PaaS services, Identity and access management, Software-defined networking, security, governance, and compliance , Cloud automation and provisioning tools / techniques , Azure native disaster recovery & resilience capabilities, Cloud Optimization and FinOps;

  • Migrating on-premises workloads to the cloud, and / or designing cloud-native application architectures as an engineer or solution architect; and,

  • Preparing architecture and operational documentation, including design diagrams and runbooks

  • Possessing working experience in implementing Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows 365, SAP on Azure, multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud deployments, cloud native application development and containers (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) or Site Reliability Engineering.
